Maynard A. Nielsen, age 88, of Fridley, died due to heart failure on Jan. 16th.
Preceded by wife, Elaine. Survived by 4 children, 6 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, other loving family & friends.
Born in Mpls. & graduated North High School. Marines Sergeant. Korean War vet. Former president for the Lions and member of the Fridley VFW. 40-year career at Northwestern Bell. Maynard was a Christian and a Vikings fan. He enjoyed travelling and fishing.
Visitation at 11AM & Funeral at NOON on Fri. Jan. 22nd at Miller Funeral Home. Burial Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
