Michelle Lee Gabrelcik

Michelle Lee Gabrelcik, of Blaine, MN, passed away on March 10, 2024. She was surrounded by the love of her caring family. 

Michelle was born in Minneapolis on January 16, 1976, to parents, Robert Mesna and Marilyn (Capistran). She graduated from Champlin Park Highschool in 1994. On September 27, 1998, she married her very best friend Peter, and they began their journey together in an apartment in Mounds View. Later, Michelle and Peter settled down in Blaine. She was a good roommate and avid collector of photos. Michelle read the newspaper every day and often Peter would remember to bring home a copy for her to enjoy. She will be remembered for her gentle sense of humor and the light she brought to all the lives she touched. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn and her grandmother, Irene. She is survived by her father Robert, her beloved husband and friend, Peter, her sister Lorrie Mesna, her niece Michaela Hammer, and her many friends, including those at the New Brighton Care center. 
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers at the Mercy Hospital ICU. 

Services will be held on Friday March 15, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home in Fridley, Minnesota. Prayer service begins at 11:00 am, with visitation 1 hour prior. Luncheon to follow service. The family will have a private graveside committal to lay Michelle to rest at Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota
