Miranda M. Dosen

Miranda "Mandy" Marie Dosen (née Johnson) passed away on August 27, 2026.

"Alwayz Smilin'", Mandy brought sunshine to everyone she knew. She was determined and intelligent, earning a practical nursing degree from Anoka Technical College. She was passionate and talented, turning a crafting hobby into a touring boutique of crocheted goods, selling colorful wares at local craft shows and fairs. She was kind hearted and generous, never quite charging the suggested rate for her works of art, often giving them to wide-eyed children. Above all, she was loyal and devoted. Family meant everything to her.

Mandy was born to Al and Terry Johnson in Fridley, Minnesota on June 12, 1977. As a youth, she enjoyed playing softball and the clarinet, rooting on the Minnesota Twins, dancing to New Kids on the Block, and doting on her little brother Christopher, turning him into a real life baby doll. She would tell you, though, that her life truly began just before Christmas in 1996 when her daughter Jackie was born. Both miraculously survived the challenging birth and Jackie would make Mandy beam with pride for the next thirty years. Especially when Jackie and husband Alex blessed us all with their amazing sons, Wilder and Leo. Being Gramma was Mandy's ultimate accomplishment.

Mandy married Jeff Dosen in October 2004. They stuck together through good times and bad, sickness and health. They traveled through half of the United States, from the legendary Smoky Mountains to the bright lights of New York City.

Now Mandy is making a different kind of journey, reuniting with loved ones who went before her: mother Terry, uncle Donnie, and cousin Troy.
