LEE, Norlan Jerome, age 94, of Fridley.  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norlan Jerome Lee, a dedicated tax accountant and beloved father, who departed this life peacefully on January 15, 2025, at the age of 94. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on February 20, 1930, Norlan lived a life enriched by the love of his family and a steadfast commitment to his profession.

Norlan spent his career contributing significantly to the accounting industry. He was regarded as a knowledgeable and respected figure among his peers, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and integrity. Norlan had a love of engaging in personal (and often anonymous) philanthropy.

Norlan is survived by his four loving sons: Jeffrey (Carolyn Hiller) Lee, James (Karen Delorenzo) Lee, Eric (Susie) Lee, and Thomas Lee; beloved sister, Lorna Jones; sisters-in-law, Helen and Mary Lee; granddaughter, Marissa Troje (Nicholas), step granddaughter; Wendy (Justin) Hahn, great grandchildren; Olive and Levi, step great grandchildren; Maya and Jaxon Hahn, Camella, Reese, and Jack Whalen.

A kind and generous man held in high regard by all who knew him.

His spirit will continue to live on through their lives and the values he instilled in them.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Norlan’s life and share fond memories. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, June 1st in the Fellowship Hall at St. Philip's Church, 6180 Hwy. 65, Fridley, MN 55432 at 1pm.

The Lee family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time as they honor the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many.

Norlan was preceded in death by his Spouse, Olive Lee; Parents, Peter and Esther Lee, brothers; Robert and Gene Lee; step-grandson, Shane Whalen.

Consistent with his philosophy, please perform a random act of kindness in Norlan's memory in lieu of memorials.
