Norma Harshberger

Norma Jean (Jeanie) Beadles Harshberger passed away peacefully at age 86 on January 16, 2022 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
Jeanie's infectious smiles, hugs, and handholding were a constant throughout her life. You always knew her presence in a room by her loud voice, laugh, and incredible ability to make others feel welcomed.
Faith, family, and community were at the center of Jeanie's life. A mother of five children, she was a 50+ year member of Minnesota's Oakhill Baptist Church and Columbia Heights community.
Initially, from Jump River, a beautiful rural community in Wisconsin, she felt it was essential to live by and teach her children to plant and grow in Faith and gardening. As a result, her family continues to do the same.
She is gone but not forgotten. She is preceded in death by husband Jay, son Timmy and grandchildren April, Tanner, parents Zenas and Edith Beadles, siblings Lee, Marvin, Deuane, Don, Ray, Elna, Harmon, and Zenas, sisters and brothers-in-law Martha, Naomi, Louise, Lois, Betty, Bev, Jack Mahoney, Bill Rhamey, Rusty Roback.
Survived by Sister Eileen Beadles Rhamey Roback, children Janet (Dave), Jeff, Penny (Randy), Irvin, grand-children; Rebecca (John), Daniel, DJay (Cherie), Jesse (Dana), DiSean (Jamie), Crystal, Jordyn (Joanna), Troy (Samantha), Lauren (Cody), Dylan, Tiffany, Tonia, Jacob, twenty seven great-grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter. Many, many nieces, nephews and friends!
