Nyle Rolfer

ROLFER, Nyle Joseph, age 83, of Mounds View passed away at home on Oct. 26, 2019 surrounded by his family.  Preceded in death by daughter, Lisa; parents, Willis and Edna; brother, Howard; sisters, Marion Craik, Pat McClay.  He will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Darlene; sons, Tim (Tara), Tom (Wendy), Steve (Lorray); 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends.  In 1959 Nyle married the Love of his Life Darlene and together they had 4 children Tim, Tom, Lisa, and Steve.

Nyle retired at the age of 58 from his Flexo-Graphics business he shared with Mike Cleveland.  He was always a very proud man who reflected frequently on the fortunes of his life.  He was Veteran to the Armed Services, Business owner, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, and forever a man known as the "Big Kahuna".   In his words, "I've lived a great life, and whenever the good Lord calls me, I'll go."
Nyle will always be remembered as a conservative man, with a quirky and generous heart.  Right now, he’s most definitely out in the Golden Greens preparing for his tee time with his buddies Bob, Don, Ozzy & Frank…. We think, the even Bigger Kahuna will probably let them play five.

Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Monday, November 4th at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 707 89th Ave NW, Blaine with visitation 9am-11am before service.  Private interment at Fort Snelling.  Memorials preferred to donor's choice.   www.millerfuneralfridley.com
