Oly Olson - Charles

Charles “Oly” Arthur Olson, 74, was born in Minneapolis on Sunday, February 24, 1952, and tragically passed away in Ham Lake on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Oly was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elsie; his son, Brent; his brother, John; his sister-in-law, Michelle; and his nephew, Ryan.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Andrea Hughes (Todd); his cherished grandchildren, Kieran Hughes and Aleah Olson; and his former wife, Deb. He is also survived by his brothers, Steve and Tom (Ruth); his sisters, Deb Stevenson (Bob) and Pam Iskierka (Gary); along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Oly also leaves behind his chosen family—countless friends he gathered throughout his life who became like brothers and sisters to him. He will be remembered for the connections he made, the friendships he cherished, and the lasting impact he had on those around him.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, with a light luncheon to follow. Please bring memories to share with everyone, so we can celebrate how bright Oly made this world.
