age 26 of Spring Lake Park. Passed away October 7, 2010. Survived by her parents, Preston Sr. and Eleanor Kar; siblings, Marcus G. Kar, Cynthia L. Kar, Priscilla M. Kar, Preston Kar Jr., Christian A. Kar; grandfather, John G. Kar and step-grandmother, Pouryea Kar; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, Hon. T. Boyle Nelson and Eunice Digler. Prestina graduated from Fridley High School, Fridley and was a Senior at Moorhead State University (2007). She was an avid reader with a love for journalism. Prestina was a fun-loving, caring and compassionate woman who held a great deal of respect for others and always expressed thanks for her family and friends. Funeral service Saturday, October 23, 11 AM at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 5929 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center. Visitation Friday, 5-9PM at the church and also one hour prior to service on Saturday. Interment to follow directly after service at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
