Ralph Larson

Reverend Ralph John Larson, age 85, of Blaine, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2021. Ralph was born to Inez and John Leiviska on Dec 22, 1935 in Aurora, MN. He had 4 siblings: Shirley, Lorraine, Diane, and Paul. He is survived by his wife; Betty; sister, Lorraine; son, Scott (Carla); daughters, Terri, and Wendi (George); 3 half-brothers; Leonard Leiviska, Allen Weijo and Dr. Richard Weijo; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. At the age of 13, Ralph was adopted by Clarence and Violet Larson of Center City, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota, taught 3 years in Papua, New Guinea, and 8 years at Mounds View before attending Luther Seminary. He served 6 churches in Minnesota and Wisconsin for 35 years. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM with visitation beginning at 10AM on Saturday, March 20 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 61 Mississippi Way, Fridley. Memorials preferred to Redeemer Lutheran or Ecumen Hospice.
