Kirwan, Robert J. age 77 of Fridley. Retired 35 year employee of the Star Tribune Newspaper. Bob's passion was for the North Shore, BWCA and conservation. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Annette; children, Sean (Denise) Kirwan, Kelly Ann Kirwan, Shannon Kirwan and Kristi Erin Kirwan; sisters, Jacqueline Baker, Jean Marie Kinzel; sister-in-law, Joan Newbert; special friend, Tim Vescio. Mass of Christian Burial Monday Oct. 7th. 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 - 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
