Engelbrecht, Robin Gene

Born May 29, 1951 - Died December 12, 2019

Robin was the son of Chery Engelbrecht Cicchese & Stepfather, Leonard Cicchese.  He was baptized April 28, 1953 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Osakis, Minnesota.  He graduated June 5, 1970 from Mechanic Arts High School, St. Paul, Minnesota.  His mother kept him home with her until she became too ill.  He was in a nursing home for a short time and moved to Phoenix Residence located on Plato Street, St. Paul. Minnesota.  When Phoenix sold their property, all the residence moved to group homes, his was Janet Court, Arden Hills, Minnesota.  All these residence have given him excellent care.  He worked for PAI, White Bear Lake, Minnesota putting greeting cards in envelopes, 200-1000 daily for almost 16 years and loved his job.  He always liked his pay check to see what he could spend it on next.  He had a sad life with over 30 surgeries, but always looked forward to something to celebrate, always had a joke for you, complementing you if he thought you looked nice.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and an uncle, Gene; his grandparents and many relatives and friends.  He is survived by his aunt, Florence of Andover, MN;; cousins, Karen (Brad) of Stanwood, WA, Gary (Jena) of Fridley, MN; and their families.  Funeral Service Saturday, January 4, 2020 -  3 PM with visitation one hour prior at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.  Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls.
