Rosella F. Puntsack

Rosella F. Puntsack passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, at Catholic Eldercare in Blaine. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will take place later that day at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Swanville.

Rosella Frances was born to George and Martha (Van Heel) Puntsack on September 11, 1934, in Swanville. She graduated from Swanville High School and, following graduation, moved to the Twin Cities, where she worked in the manufacturing industry for many years.

Rosella was a longtime member and volunteer at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where she greatly enjoyed attending Mass and being involved in the church community. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos, playing cards, traveling, and bowling. She will be remembered for her warm sweet nature and for the many friendships and connections she made throughout her life.

Rosella is survived by her sister-in-law, Ione Puntsack, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Dorothy (Richard) Billmeyer, Evelyn (George) Skluzacek , Bernadine (Arnold) Sanborn , and Edward Puntsack; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosella will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
