Susan Lois Carlson

Susan “Sue” Lois Carlson, aged 66, passed away on March 25th, 2026.  Sue was born February 10th, 1960, in Cambridge, Minnesota to Wayne and Lois (Dahlman) Blomgren.

After graduating from Braham High School, Sue went to beauty school.  She worked as a hairdresser until her retirement in 2009.

Sue married Mitchell “Mitch” Carlson.  They had one son, Andrew.  Sue’s grandchildren were her whole world.  She talked about them with everyone she met.  She cherished every moment with them.

Sue had an obsession for tie dye.  Everything she ordered had to be tie dye.  She enjoyed playing bingo, and cards with friends and family.  She loved animals, especially her dog, Rosie, and cats, Winston and Izzy.

Many people are blessed to have had Sue in their lives, especially her son, Andrew (Rachelle) Carlson; grandchildren, Emma, Logan, and Owen; brothers, Scott (Jennifer) Blomgren, Joel (Belinda) Blomgren; and sister Jana (Kim) Amsrud.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Lois Blomgren; and husband, Mitchell Carlson; as well as her furry friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
