Susanne Mary Smith

Smith (Kasner), Susanne M., age 76, of Fridley, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 30, 2023.  Longtime retired employee of Dayton's and avid Gopher fan.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Kasner and Margaret Kasner; brother, Donald Kasner.  She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Charles; children, Annie (Smith) Jenstad (Brian), Charles Smith (Sara); grandchildren, Wyatt, Paige, Charlie, Wayne; sister, Peggy (Kasner) Lidd (Mike); many relatives and good friends.  Visitation 4-7pm Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.  Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Wednesday at Church of St. William, 6120 5th St Ne, Fridley.  Visitation at church Wednesday 1 hour before service.  Interment at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery, New Hope.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the U of M Foundation - Department of History.
