Teresa “Tracy” Lee Lone, age 56, of New Hope, Minnesota, passed away of natural causes at her home on Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born to the late David and Mary (O’Connell) Anderberg in Minneapolis on December 3, 1969.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home, Fridley, MN. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Tracy grew up in Spring Lake Park and attended Spring Lake Park High School. After school, she worked at Willamette Corrugated for a few years. Deciding that wasn’t for her, she started her own day care and enjoyed taking care of children for more than 16 years.
Tracy loved spending time outdoors. She loved the ocean. One of her favorite places was Gooseberry falls. She enjoyed gardening. Later on she developed a love for birds. Especially the Mallards that come to the pond across the street from us every year to raise their ducklings. She also enjoyed watching true crime shows and spending time with her family and friends. Tracy brought a vibrance and joy with her and was always quick with a joke or a laugh. You couldn’t bring her anywhere without her making you laugh at inappropriate times
Tracy is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Tom Lone, with whom she spent 23 incredible years. She also leaves behind her children, Renee (Tom) Benes, Jason (Becky) Moe, Michael Anderberg, Alan Skidmore, and Mason Lone; grandchildren, Marijane (Luke) Evans, Destiny Benes, Ava Moe, Kaida Benes, Madden Benes, and Adrien Moe; nieces and nephew, Jennelle, Ben, and Katie; and sisters, Rhonda Anderberg and Angie (Jim) Harris.
In addition to her parents, Tracy is preceded in death by her brother, Steven Anderberg and niece, Michelle Anderberg.
