Todd Bownik

Todd A. Bownik passed away on May 13th at 11:10pm with his wife, daughter, and sister by his side.

Todd loved cars, from his hot wheels as a kid to the muscle cars as he got older. He was a talented and creative autobody repair/painter and later in life was a meticulous auto appraiser, sharing his knowledge with others.  He made sure his family had safe and also “cool” looking cars, often buying custom rims and accessories.

Todd loved his family and friends.  He enjoyed getting together with friends for the annual Winstock music festival, parties at his cousins, or just hanging out in the garage with friends.  He had a huge heart and would do anything to help others, friends, family, and strangers.  Todd was very proud of his daughter, Katie, and would frequently share her accomplishments with others.  He often let friends and family know what “his girls” were up to as Paula and Katie traveled.  He loved his siblings (and their families) and enjoyed getting together, particularly sitting outside at his parents house in the summer.

He will be deeply missed but is now at peace and catching up with his best friend Les, his mother Shirley, his grandmother Vi in heaven.
