Vernon Nyberg
Fridley
Nyberg, Vernon B. Age 90 of Fridley. Bronze Star V recipient in the Korean War. After retirement, Vernon worked at Greenhaven Golf Course in the Pro Shop for 18 years.
Preceded in death by loving wife, Dorothy. Survived by children: son, Kurt (Nhan Lu) Nyberg; daughters, Kathy (Jeff) Brastad, Karen Nyberg; sisters, Dorothy Vetsch, Annie Westlund; grandchildren, Quynh, Nick, Chau, Mike, Justin, Ana and Kristin; great-grandchildren Eva, Josie, Nico.
Memorial service Mon 11AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.
Interment Ft. Snelling at a later date.
