William Stewart Lahti

William Stewart Lahti, Age 67 of Lino Lakes, formerly of Fridley Minnesota passed away peacefully at home surrounded by Family on May, 6, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his parents Archie and Vivian Lahti, Bill leaves behind his Daughter Amanda Gardner (Zach), Grandchildren Nevaeh Gardner, Liam Gardner, and Harper Gardner, his dear friend and partner-in-adventures Rita (Ritz) Shea; his brother Harold (Yvonne); his sisters Carol Lahti (Dean Becker); Linda (Kevin) Wendland; nieces Suzanne Becker; Isabella Wendland, nephews Jordan (Sara) Lahti; Jared Lahti; Justin Lahti; Michael (Haruna) Wendland; Erik Becker; Derek Wendland and other relatives and friends.

Bill graduated from Fridley High School, Dunwoody Industrial Institute, and Anoka Technical College and throughout his career worked at M&I Auto Supply, Modern Heating and Air Conditioning, Cummings Power Generation and Mate Precision Technologies.

In his spare time, Bill enjoyed travel and was an avid outdoor enthusiast with interests in Competitive Marksmanship, Hunting, Fishing, and Power Sports (Snowmobile and ATV). Additionally, Bill enjoyed attending State of Minnesota Auctions in search of the “great deal” and most of all, enjoyed attending his Grandchildren’s and other family events.

Services will be on June 20, 2025, beginning at 11am with a one hour visitation beforehand at 10am. Service are located at Miller Funeral Home (6210 Highway 65 NE Fridley, MN 55432).
