Branden Vadnais

September 15, 1989 — May 6, 2022

Coon Rapids

Vadnais, Branden Eugene, 32 of Coon Rapids

Branden was born to Elizabeth Vadnais & Duane Vadnais Sr on 9/15/1989. He was loved by & brought joy to all of us. In an impulsive moment of darkness on 5/6/2022, Branden left this world to join his Mom & Papa in Heaven.

After his Mom’s death, Branden was lovingly raised, along with his brother Duane (DJ) Vadnais, Jr, (Becca) by his Mom’s family: Papa & Nana Jack & Karen Mahaffey, aunt Cathie (Rick) Wamsley & uncle Tom (Michelle) Mahaffey.

Branden had a zest for life. He was inquisitive & mischievous with a devilish, dimpled smile. Branden was the instigator of many antics, along with his brother & cousins Nicole (Mike) Zager, Mandy (Josh) Overby & Andrew (Christine) Mahaffey. He never ceased to make us laugh & keep us on our toes.

Branden loved spending time with family & friends, hosting feasts of his BBQ & smoked meats & bonfires. He also enjoyed playing cribbage with Nana & he met his match in chess with Cathie. Branden found joy & serenity in drumming & later making beautiful music with his handpan. He enjoyed working in his woodshop- “sawdust is man glitter” & working on cars with Tom.

Being a father was Branden’s lifelong dream. He loved his daughter Hailey Vadnais more than anything. With Hailey, Branden enjoyed being a kid again. Hailey and Branden enjoyed

Pokeman cards and played many games of Sequence… that Hailey won! They shared many adventures together boating, fishing, agate hunting & treasure hunting.

With his girlfriend Katie Hartkopf Branden enjoyed the outdoors and exploring new things. Their daughter Oriana Vadnais completed his fatherhood dream.

In addition to those already listed, Branden is also survived by half-brother Josh Domeier, grandparents Jerry & Darlene Vadnais, aunts Diana Herbst & Denise Vadnais, uncle Dale Vadnais & cousins along with many friends.

We will all miss Branden’s infectious smile, antics, music & his heart of gold.
