Carmen Kreuzkemper

Kreuzkemper, Carmen Veronica, age 91 of New Brighton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2020. Preceded in death by loving husband, Eugene; parents, Reuben and Mina Carpenter; brothers, Cleon, Clair, Lyle; and sister, LaVonne.  Survived by loving daughters, Jill (Brian) Rauworth, Kim (Daniel) Nelson;  beloved grandchildren, Patrick Nelson, Kristen (Scott) Sagnes, Drew Nelson, Lauren Michels, Tyler Johnson, Erica Rauworth;  great grandchildren, Kaylee, Adam, Emma & Kaleb Nelson, Carson & Mason Michels, Aria & Ava Sagnes; many nieces; nephews; and friends.

Carmen loved to sew and was a member of Jammies are my specialty (Jams) where she met many loving friends.  She taught her granddaughter and great granddaughter how to sew who both shared in her passion.   Carmen also loved to read, cook and play cards.  She was kind-hearted and loved to spend time with her family and friends, her door was always open the coffee pot on and the wine in the fridge.

Visitation from 4-5:30 with a memorial service at 5:30 on Thursday, July 9 at Miller Funeral Home 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley.

While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to accommodate gatherings of up to 250 people. The use of face masks by attendees is recommended, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep our facility clean. For those who prefer or require continued precautions, webcasting and/or livestreaming is available in most situations.
