Irma Kelly

Irma Marija Kelly passed away peacefully on June 3rd, 2021 at the age of 92.  Irma was born on December 3rd, 1928 in Minneapolis, MN. She was the youngest child of John and Senja (Koski) Kauppi, born after her brother, Donny.

Irma was the loving wife of Robert (Bob) Kelly. Together they resided in the Fridley area for over 60 years. Irma’s full-time job was raising her children. She enjoyed volunteering, and spent much of her time in various volunteer activities and giving back to her community. She stayed busy by spending time with her friends, taking part in her local Red Hats Society, traveling, babysitting her grandkids, and quilting.

Preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Robert; daughter, Susan Youngmark.  Survived by children, Elizabeth (Virgil) Devilbiss, Steve Kelly, DeAnn (Paul) Johnston; 9 grandchildren, Virgil, Derek, Justin, Kelly, Tim, Erin, Sean, Nicole, Rebecca; 6 great-grandchildren, Kitra, Maya, Corban, Carson, Jensen, Julian; and many friends.

Memorial service Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 - 5:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 6180 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley. Private interment.
