James "Jim" Turner

Turner, James K., age 83 of Fridley, passed away on Aug 16, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Merle and Viola; son, Darren; brothers, Vernon and Darel; and sister, Donna. Survived by wife, Alice (Winesburg); children, Brian (Dawn), Colleen (Kevin) Carlson, Alison, Erin (Tom) Harlan and Tim; grandchildren, Matthew (Brittany), Tori, Aidan, Corey, Amy (Pat), Jesse and Finn; great granddaughter, Anjie; sisters, Lois (Wendell) Elder and Muriel (Kenneth) Ruppert; sisters in law, Donna Turner, LouAnne Burke and Grace Rehm; nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends. Special thanks to Bree Jensen, the staff at Crest View Lutheran Home and Fairview Hospice.

Visitation on Fri, Aug 23 from 6PM-8PM with a service at 7PM at Crest View Lutheran Home, 4444 Reservoir Blvd, Columbia Heights. Mass of Christian burial on Sat, Aug 24 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at the Church of Saint Timothy, 707 89th Ave NE, Blaine. Please dress casual and come as you are.
