John Munsterman

John Richard Munsterman, age 53, of Mounds View, passed away on February 12, 2021.

John was preceded in death by grandmother, Evelyn Behrens "Granny"; grandfather, John Ernest Munsterman; grandfather, Bill Behrens; grandmother, Adaline Nielsen; grandfather, Eskild Nielsen; close friend, Lewie Griffith.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughters, Amber Munsterman & Amber Bury; sons, Mitchell Munsterman and Markus Bury; granddaughters: Isabella Munsterman, Natalia Munsterman, Evelyn Bury, and Olivia Bury; grandson, Elijah Bury; parents, Ken and Myra Munsterman; brothers, Chad (Gina) Munsterman, Brian (Jessica) Munsterman; other loving family and many friends.

John was a part of so many peoples’ lives. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandpa, aka “Pepa.” He was the President of Local GMP Union 63B and he worked at Carley Foundry for the last 25 years. John was very passionate about everything he did. He loved 4 wheeling and hanging out with friends and family. He was a friend and mentor to many.

John loved traveling with his family. He lived for hunting, fishing, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. John’s happiest moments were spent with his family.

John was a baseball coach for Shoreview Baseball and Irondale Football for years. He loved all the players like they were his own.

John also coached Softball and was so proud of all his kids and their skills.

Memorial Gathering 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7th at Miller Funeral Home in Fridley.
