Michael Davis Sr

Michael was born in Chicago, IL on November 17, 1959. He was among five of his siblings. He went to school and grew up on the south side of Chicago. He met and married Delores Johnson and started a family at a very young age. He devoted much of his time to working and providing for his family. He enjoyed fixing things with his hands and he loved helping people. And among other things, he enjoyed listening to some good music and spending time with his friends and family,

Michael lived the better part of his adult life in Minneapolis, MN and he lived it well. Michael was called home on Monday, March 8, 2021. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sears; father, Steven Davis; brothers, Gary, Sylvester and Anthony; and sisters, Linda, Zondra and Brenda.

Michael leaves to mourn his lifelong partner, Delores Chatman; guardian mother, Eva; 7 siblings, Orlando, Morris, Steve, Josh Tony, Quentella and Stephanie; children, Toneshae, Michael Davis Jr., Sam, Josey, Cody, Stevie and Sheraun; his fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service at 2PM on Saturday, March 20 at Miller Funeral Home. Visitation from 12PM-2PM.
