Rick Grams, age 70 of Minneapolis, passed away on June 9, 2022. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Gloria Grams; children, Jessica (Fletcher) Waltman, Michael (Shawn) Grams and Jason (Kassandra) Grams; grandchildren, Garrett & Evan Waltman, Holden & Lauren Grams, and Ruth Grams; brother, James (Connie) Grams; step-siblings; Vincent Smith, Doris Smith-Wedel and Cheryl Smith; nieces; nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.
Rick lived a life of service to others as a minister for 37 years. On June 21, 1975, he and Gloria were united in marriage at Faith Lutheran Church in Markesan, WI. Together with their family they served parishes in the Midwest and Rick loved what he was called to do. He was an extremely organized note taker with a silly sense of humor. He enjoyed reading, keeping up with the weather, watching movies and most of all, his family. Rick was a kid at heart and was always participating in any sport or hobby that his children were active in. His joyful spirit will be missed by many.
Rick’s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fridley. Visitation beginning at 10AM and service at 11AM.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Markesan, Wisconsin.
