Robin Kimberly Gooden, 60, from Minneapolis died unexpectedly on January 16, 2020.
Robin was born in Minneapolis on August 2, 1959 to Robert and Muriel Gooden. She graduated from Edison High and then entered the workforce. Shortly before death, she switched positions in Wells Fargo and loved working with auto loan customers and helping them with any questions and challenges. Robin was truly customer oriented.
Robin had many passions in life. She loved English History and visited London multiple times. She enjoyed the parks, museums and churches in London and around the Twin Cities area. Robin also loved gardening and her yard was immaculate with plant varieties from around the world. Robin enjoyed reading and shared how during her first vacation, she sat on a beach in Maine reading for hours, while listening to the waves hitting the shore. And Robin loved animals and had a dog Susy years ago and so many bird feeders in her yard. Robin was not a possession type of person, but she sure loved her Ford Trucks over the years.
Robin is survived by her best friend, Mike Tigner; brother, David Gooden; nieces, Jennifer Gooden and Tina Fiscus; great-niece, Taya Fiscus; and great-nephew, Max Fiscus. She enjoyed spending time with and cared deeply for Tina, Taya and Max.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents Muriel and Robert Gooden and her sisters Judy and Melissa.
There will not be a service. If anyone wants to donate to a nonprofit in her memory, she was an avid supporter of the Southern Anoka Community Assistance food shelf.
