Ronald F. Pouliot In Loving Memory Ron Pouliot, 71, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2020 after a courageous 8 year battle with MDS and Heart Failure. Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy (Abrahamson) Pouliot; his son, Todd Pouliot; and his grandson Dylan Plohasz-Pouliot (Madi Sandholm). Brothers Douglas (Pauline), Paul (Lynda), Sister Judy Johnson (Clifford - deceased), Mother-in-law Nancy Abrahamson and many Pouliot and Abrahamson family members. Preceded in death by Parents Adelma (Del) & Lorraine and Brother Richard.

Proud Veteran, US Navy, Served during Vietnam, 1968-1970.

Ron was an adoring husband, married to Kathy for 48 years, devoted father, loving grandfather, cherished friend to many, a favorite golf and fishing partner, and like many Minnesotans, a frequently disappointed sports fan. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Scheible, Dr. Uzma Ali, Dr. Peter Eckman, Allina Hospice and his entire care team. Their unwavering commitment and diligence provided Ron with a longer, higher quality life.

Since Ron was such an earnest sports fan, our family would be pleased if you’d consider wearing a favorite team jersey. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Church of St. Paul, 1740 Bunker Lake Blvd NE Ham Lake, MN 55304. Eulogies to begin at 10:30 am.
