Obituary

Rosemary Scheper, age 81, died May 24, 2022 in Burnsville, MN.

Rosie was born in 1940 on her grandparents’ farm in Morrison County, MN. She graduated from Foley High School in 1958, and married Dennis Scheper in 1961. Rosie and Dennis enjoyed playing in old time/country bands for many years where Rosie would play piano and sing. When not playing in the band, she enjoyed going to dances with Dennis and their many friends. She was known for her big smiles and infectious laughter.

Rosie is survived by sons, Allen Scheper of Maple Grove and Randy (Toni) Scheper of Lakeville; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Judy Stumvoll of Foley and Jerome Okonek of Amery, WI.

Rosie was preceded in death by husband, Dennis Scheper; parents, Edward and Mary Okonek; sister, Delphine Langendorf; brothers-in-law, Duane Stumvoll, Paul Langendorf, and Kenneth Scheper.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM on Wed. June 1st at Church of the Epiphany, 1900- 111th Ave. NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation one hour prior. Burial at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery.
