Sheri Whitfield

May 3, 1968 — July 28, 2021

Fridley

Sheri Kae (Pitts) Whitfield, was born May 3rd, 1968, in Bremerton, Washington, to (The Late) Terry L. Pitts and Sandra (Pitts) Henry. She passed away peacefully at 7:35 pm on July 28, 2021, with her husband, and her employee Genelle Lemon, at her bedside.

Sheri, is survived by her Husband James E. Whitfield, of Fridley, Minnesota her Children Kimberly Anderson, of St. Cloud, Minnesota., Brett Anderson, of Lincolnton, North Carolina; Our Special Daughter (Amber Rosa Jacobson, New Brighton, MN.); her Brothers and their Spouses Anthony (Tony) Pitts and Heather Pitts, of Manitou Springs, Colorado; Tedd Pitts and Amber Pitts, of Corvallis, Oregon; Her half-sisters, Amy Pitts (and Family) of Everette, Washington; and Katie McNeill Marcus (and Family), of Dupont, Washington, and her Mother Sandra Henry, of Brinnon, Washington. And, her former Spouse, Wade Anderson, of Lincolnton, North Carolina. Sheri, also leaves behind to cherish her memories of fun times as Young Mothers and Friends, Lori Lemire Webb, of Tampa, Floria (formerly of Fridley, MN), and her Family.

Sheri, is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles as well as nieces and nephews. And, In-laws (Elizabeth, Mary & Otis, Betty & Harry, Isaiah, III., Sarah & Alexander, Marilyn, Brenda and Angela & K.C.) She was close with her Cousins, Benjamin Spannbauer, and Daphne Wenzel both of Minnesota.

Sheri, worked for CenterPoint Energy, Inc., for nearly 25 years in various roles, she loved her job, her employees and co-workers. A few nights before her passing away she asked her Nurse if she could have laptop so she could work. She had a wicked sense of humor, and sarcasm about her. She was kind and compassionate to others and very active in her community. She loved to laugh and have fun with her family and friends. Sheri, became an Admin for a social media platform Group, to wit, Buy Nothing (Project) Spring Lake Park/Fridley area, and loved the social interaction and formed a New Family with the Members of this Group, while helping so many. They are too numerous to list, but the Members ALL know who they are, and how much she loved each and everyone of you. And, gauging by the outpouring of love both before and since her passing, she was very well liked, and loved.

Just to give you a dose of her wit, were she to read this she would probably say - “Hi, I am Sheri Kae Whitfield, and I approve this Obit, but if it goes wrong, blame My Husband, James J Whit”. She was full of life and love. And, she will be dearly

missed by so many. Her Children, Brett and Kimberly, were her pride and joy whom are missing her smile and laughter, but, most importantly “the sound of her voice” and her warm loving embrace.

If I have failed to mention anyone by name, it is because we are limited by space as Sheri, would have said “Blame my Husband, James J Whit”. She is Our Guardian Angel, now watching down over us all.

Thank you for being here for “The Celebration of Sheri Kae (Pitts) Whitfield’s Life” with Family and Friends.

Sincerely, The Family.
