Thomas Leanger

July 4, 1946 — July 7, 2020

Thomas Leanger, age 74, passed away on July 7, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Louise Leanger. Survived by wife of 51 years, Linda Leanger; son, David (Kaycee) Leanger and their children; Allison, Ezekiel and Isaac; son, Stephen (Tricia) Leanger and their son; Ryder; sister, Joan Engelke; other loving relatives; and friends. Tom worked for the Robbinsdale School District for over 30 years and was a longtime member at Woodcrest Baptist Church in Fridley. He was a loyal, considerate and giving man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Tom frequented family sporting events and enjoyed watching Twins Baseball. His kind heart will be missed by all those who knew him.

Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 15 at 2PM with visitation beginning at 1PM at Woodcrest Baptist Church, 6875 University Ave, Fridley. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Woodcrest Baptist Church.
